Sweet, soft hearted Ellie. Nana is getting ready to read Marley, so I will be crying too. I love my sweet granddaughter. Nana

Oh, that is so precious. The reading and the emotion!

I have a hard time getting books in my kids hands, but once they are into it, they are fine.

You are a great mommmy!

Blessings friend,
Roxx

Well, the book has an extremely sad ending, if you haven't read it or seen the movie. She was reading the part where Marley had died and the dad was letting the kids know about it and the tears would just not stop. Hers AND mine. (she read the Junior Edition, not the adult book - which is not appropriate for kids, nor is the movie, IMO.)

too cute! (well, not that i ENJOYED seeing your daughter cry, but you get the idea.) but this a good example of why I CANNOT go see that movie. or any movie, for that matter, where an animal is hurt or killed. cruel little me doesn't cry usually if people get hurt or killed in movies (i can't believe i'm admitting this), but animals, oh man, breaks my heart...:)

This bright tears to my own eyes. What a great picture and treasure it will be for her.

Courtney looked just like that when she got to that part in the book. I cried a lot as well when I read it.

Sweet girl - just want to give her a big hug. Old Yeller, Charlotte's Web, My Friend Flicka, Where the Red Fern Grows, they just tug at your heart like that. I still remember them as the very best books from my childhood though. Seeing your child so vulmerable tugs at your heart a bit too, I am sure. Thanks for the moment.

Awwww! I know how she feels. I saw Marley and Me at the movies and then later was looking at the book to read the end and I had to put it down because I knew I would be ballin'.
