Surrounded by Women

Well, not women yet, but girls and therefore,
a ton of
estrogen,
emotions
and lipstick.
How will such a
singular
testosterone bomb
fare around five (5)
female cousins and sisters
with no other boy
to speak of
in his immediate family?

Just bein' a momma
and wonderin'.

From your previous blog posts, I think Luke's got it covered. He'll give those girls a fun for their money.

This snapshot makes me smile. :)
I just love the Luke Man.
And, I feel like he gives me a future preview of my Owen who has two older sisters...but is oozing testosterone. Isn't life fun?!!

Maggie looks like she's not too sure about it either!

Husband material right there. My husband has three sisters who not only surrounded him with estrogen, but also took him shopping with them, sent him to the grocery store to buy them tampons (seriously, he was a teenager!), and he is the best husband for it. Just from reading your blog, I think your little guy looks plenty educated in the male department, so this way he'll be well-rounded. ;)

Lukey handles it well. Lauren is a best friend, Kami a good sister, Ellie & Luke in spite of their differences have a lot in common, Hallie is a sweet cousin, and Luke trys hard to be sweet to his little cousin, Maggie. In spite of all of his testosterone, he is one lovable boy! Nana

I hate to burst the bubble, but having two sisters did not help my husband out. I love him dearly, but I did not reap the benefits in this case!
What I sense in all of it is confidence and individuality. He will be his own person. How nice to not be compared to other little boys in the family.
My thoughts. :)

Do you like the book Same Kind of Different As Me? It is one of my favorite books - EVER. I want to hear the authors speak sometime.
