Some call me a basketball widow, but I look for the blessings in being married to a coach, who happens to be a wonderful man, husband and father. I stay busy by blogging about children, parenting, crafting, Christianity, photography, blogging, family life, my sweet granny in heaven who is my inspiration, and oh yeah, a little bit of basketball.
As time zooms by, I lose the moments of my life that I don't want to forget. They get washed in the pocket of my jeans or they get stuck in a wad of gum in my carpet. Sometimes, I just box them up, like old love letters, and I can't seem to find them again. This is my attempt to sweep those memories back up, and hold them fast so I can remember all the days that mean so much!
What My Kids Said Today....
Luke: Is it normal to have a crack in your tongue?
Luke: (excitedly) I had a great day at school today!! Me: (super happy because we have been working hard on improving self-control at school) GREAT Luke! I'm so proud of you. What happened? Luke: I played great at Quarterback during recess!!!
Ellie: (while playing tennis on a hot day): I've realized I'm like a Boston Terrier. I'm a lot of fun, but I overheat really easily.
“Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.” (Luke 9:23-24) (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)

On a different note, I am cracking up at Ellie's observation at the pool!
It's been a sad week with all of the celebrity deaths.
Thank you for the link, Annie.
It is such a sad time. I found myself really feeling blue today while listening to Michael's music.
I struggled with writing that post last night. But the truth is, it's of utmost importance.
Thank you again, for the link.
AND the clip you added on yours.
